Figured it Out, Again

I’m right, then I’m wrong again
figured it out
what is it?
life, me, myself,
the world, God,
the universe?
I see now, more clearly than ever
hindsight, looking through my rearview
a reflection
upon a reflection
each time discover
what I held as truth
is no longer
as I grow and change
my perspective follows
explain my actions
admit to my mistakes
needed the distance
time created that space
the mind is unreliable
so how can I say later,
understand better
what I’m thinking now?
fall into the trap
am I wrong
for being right
never figure it out
so go left
