Autumn

that the leaves may fall
blown far and wide
colours of autumn adorn the pavement
a fullness of green
magically reveals a tricolour palette
transform seasonally
red to remind us of love
yellow to mimmic the sun
brown finally brings us back
represents the ground
earth calling its creation
return to become one with the soil
a chance to start over again
turn over a new leaf
whatever falls will re-grow
our spiritual essence
reflected in nature’s play
